The Filipino-American Association of Iowa (FAAI) is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, non-political, and non-profit organization for the primary purposes of promoting awareness, knowledge and understanding of, and celebrating Philipine-US culture and heritage; to serve as a supportive gathering network for Filipinos, Filipino-Americans and peoples of other ethnic, national or cultural origins who are interested in promoting and achieving the primary purposes of the FAAI; and to aspire for and aim, in accordance with its resources, to extend humanitarian assistance not only to Members, but also to other Filipino-American communities, whether in the U.S.A, the Philippines, or elsewhere.
To make donations to our disaster relief fund for the Philippines, please go to any Veridian Credit Union branch and make a deposit to the “Filipino-American Association of Iowa Helping Hands Fund”. Or send your check made out to FAAI and include in the memo section Helping Hands Fund to Jim Foster PO Box 434 Grainger, IA 50109. Your donations will be greatly appreciated and used to support a current medical mission and other relief organizations such as the Philippine Red Cross and Catholic Charities. Your donations are tax deductible.
